Meetings carry sensitive conversations. Here is how Ijtimaa keeps them private.
- Our own servers
- Ijtimaa runs on dedicated servers we manage, not on a third-party meeting service. Video, recordings and data stay on them.
- Encrypted connections
- Every page, call and file travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS and secure WebRTC).
- Separate workspaces
- Each team’s people, meetings and recordings are kept apart. Nobody sees another workspace.
- Two-step login
- Protect your account with codes from an authenticator app, plus one-time recovery codes.
- Private recordings
- Recordings are only available to your workspace, and are deleted after the retention period.
- Waiting room
- Guests wait until you let them in; invited people use their own personal links.
- Tested backups
- Data is backed up every night, and each backup is restored as a test to prove it works.
- Monitoring
- Every service is checked every minute, and problems are reported straight away.
